The Alchemical Wedding of Chrisitan Rosycross (Chymische Hochzeit Christiani Rosencreutz anno 1459) was first published in 1616 and is the third of the original manifestos of the mysterious “Fraternity of the Rose Cross” (Rosicrucians).
Who were the Rosicrucians? Were they an organization of profound thinkers rebelling against the inquisitional religious and philosophical limitations of their time? Where was the “House of the Holy Spirit”?
The name Christian Rosycross is a term used by the classical Rosicrucians of the 17th century to refer to the prototype of the new human being, who devotes himself heart and soul to the realization of genuine spiritual renewal in all human beings. Alchemy is the process or Path for transforming the lead of the personality into the gold of the Spirit.
The Lectorium Rosicrucianum, or International School of the Golden Rosycross, aims to help seekers find and form a iving connection with this Path, which is woven of love, wisdom, knowledge (gnosis) and action.
This talk will be held on the 15th of November, 2009 from 11:00am to 11:45am which would be followed by a dicussion until 13:00pm at The Osbourne Hotel, South Street, Valletta.
